Here is an interesting one re shading.
A 30KWP system that we were installing went live today, sun was shinning evenly across the barn roof.
The system is split into eight strings, then 4 strings to each inverter.
The whole system had rigorous testing before "switch on" and all tested perfect.
Half of the system was producing 6500 KW, and the other half (equally split) was producing 4200KW.
As the scaffold was still there, I went up on the roof to see if I could find out why it was different.
The scaffold was casting a shadow along the lower panels, and by looking, you would not think it would make a difference,
it's only a narrow shadow, but a performance loss of 2300KW says it all.
Fortunately, the scaffold will be coming down, so there will be no shading.
Here is the proof that shading does have a huge impact on system performance, so avoid it if you can.

Scaffolding is still up, however, as the weather has been somewhat dull, I checked again, and both Inverters were about 1700w.
As it is a customers install, I do not have totally free access, but will update when I can.
