Can't believe no-one has mentioned WIHA side cutters, got a really good comfortable feel, stay sharp.
would deffo recommend them
 
ive had this pair for over a year now, wiha side cutters, still sharp and cut pins etc fine, there like the bnq snips, people tend not to knick them as there less common

if people knick your tools, why do you lend them out?
 
Not sure, but don't think so. I checked my link and it's to the Knipex ones.

I have to say, I adore my sprung cable shears.

Also, I don;t really understand people bemoaning spending a few quid on basic tools that are constantly used. Have you seen the price on good quality tools used by mechanics?

I LOVE tools, and don't mind a bit spending on good quality ones that are a joy to use and make the job so much easier and rewarding.
 
draper expert are knipex under a different name i think...
That's what I wondered when I saw the advert. I had no idea they are the same, weird, I have a few draper tools around somewhere and they look nothing like Knipex.

well...i`m always suspicious of something that doesn`t appear `right`...it generally isn`t...
or stuff thats `too cheap`...its usually a load of turd...
