Hi,

I have a 4way LNB on my sky dish but only 3 of the ports are in use. I also have an unused sky box.

What is the cable called that goes from sky dish to sky box? and where can I get it from?

Thanks, Dan :)

Personally I do not recommend using screw on F connectors outside, they do break down a lot more often then compression type F connectors, even when used in conjunction with self amalgamating tape. I know many people use the screw on type, but if the dish is high up and access may be a issue once fitted, you are better off using compression type.

RG6 cable is the minimum I would use for satellite, the screw on F connectors work fine just remember to seal the joint at the LNB with self-amalgamating tape ( I use black insulation tape works ok too ) also try not to move the dish about with screwing the new cable into the LNB
