Hi,
My first post.
I am installing Nest Protect (battery) units, and have a problem as to where to fit them in the bedrooms.
Bedrooms all have flat ceilings, one door and one window each. So far so good.
The problem I have is each bedroom has a large ceiling fan and an Aircon unit. Two bedrooms have the aircon unit above the window, and one bedroom the unit is to the right.
I can't get a great distance from a window, door, Aircon or fan, so where would I ideally fit the detectors, I guess I really mean, which of these objects will affect the smoke alarms ability to do its job the most.
The instructions don't cover these conditions.
