Apparently a division of Suntellite

Good / Bad / Indifferent ?

20 year warranty extension =£83..

warranty written on bog paper?

most of these companies are so heavily in debt the chances of them being in business in 6 years time are pretty slim, never mind 20.

The fact that it's £83 for the extension suggests that it's pretty meaningless tbh....agree with Gav. Saying that, I haven't heard anything particularly negative about the inverters themselves

Heard nothing either hence my post, the £83 response from Gavin was my thoughts also.
Client convinced he wants peace of mind for 20 years, so my response was the same!!
We've offered SMA with 15 year warranty, though of course our price for that is £500 more!!

Apparently Solax is a division of Suntellite...

We have fitted quite a number with no issues, we get them through Greentech (Edmundsons) if that makes any difference.

Over what period? How long have you been installing them?

We had no issues in 2011-2014 with Power One inverters, had so many that we installed during that period go out this year with EO31 errors, we have stopped installing them... (The problem is a failing relay..) Fortunately power one are still in business (ABB have picked up the liabilities, though carp service as it was 7 weeks + for the replacements most of this year..)

We have been installing them for about a year and have only had an issue with one, where there was a problem with the wireless transmitter. This was turned around relatively quickly as the replacement unit came from down south. Although it did take them a a bit to convince them that it was the inverter at fault.
