Hi all, first post so be gentle!! Just moved down from sunny Mansfield to Reading and need the number for SSE in Reading to get the supply details at a private property (just the cutout size really). The SSE website is not very helpfull!! Rang one number and got told that it was for emergencies only and would not give me the number that I wanted!! So, probably quicker to ask here!!

Yep, but they all say 100 amps

The cut out is RATED at 100 amps but could very well contain a 60 or 80.

08450701767 is the national number which gets through to SSE engineering. They're usually pretty helpful

The local depot is in Theale (M4 - J12) their number is 01189126501

Just to let you know that there is a typo on the number provided on the post above for the SSE Reading Depot (in Theale) - the number is actually 0118 912 6500
