as title, am looking for square edge grid switches.

I rewired a little bungalow and wired it for grid switches beside double sockets in kitchen due to space restraints. Have fitted out in M2 (from CEF) square edge…. But now have found out M2 don’t do grid switches in that style….. Found out after I’ve fitted out the rest of the house.

If I’d noticed earlier, I would have used the m2 slimline range that does have grid plates.

I wouldn’t mind fitting out the kitchen in another brand, but style has to be square edge to be similar to rest of house.

Note. Also found out their M2 range is updated version of their RPP Omega brand

The Scolmore Click ranges have minigrid options that might suit?

yep... good shout.

YESSS stock Scolmore, so ill go there on monday if CEF dont find anything.

If Cities had just said at the beginning... If you want grid switches, youll have to go with the slimline range.... then i would have.
I gave them the list of fittings to make up... and because i was waiting for the grid switches and plates to come in stock... i'd went ahead and fitted everything else out.

My only local choices off-the-shelf are Cities and YESSS.... Screwfix at a push. Might have to use online wholesalers more.
Have used TLC and Electrical2go at times.

I think selelectric offer grid in both round and square edge. It's a brand my local CEF carriers, although your local branch might not.

If you don't mind my asking, why fit out a rewire with square edge accessories?

The customer is very traditional, so he was happy with, dare I say, old fashioned design.

It took me a while to convince him he needed more than one socket in each bedroom.
