I fitted new batteries in the Stannah 250 model about 4 years ago (can't find my original post here for this topic) and had a call to revisit the system today.
The chair goes so far up the rack and stops dead, after pressing the operating switch it goes a bit further and may again stop dead but then it may just decide to go all the way.
How far the chair goes is random and may stop several times going up as well as down.
I'm guessing the batteries are ok but will check as the sytem has not been in use for a few years but has always been powered up.
Your advice will as always be appreciated.

Batteries checked and are ok. Chair stops at random points both with and without passenger.
Had a call later on to say the system has packed up all together now and will not go up or down.

makesure to test the batteries properly as they could still be dead and give off the right voltage
How did you test the batteries?
