Hello my name is Ben.
ive recently been thinking about my life and the direction it's going. I'm unhappy with my current job and any I might be able to get so I was looking at training for new skills. I did look at and contacted olcj is it. But have been dis persuaded by by some things I've read on this forum. I don't have a lot in the manner of school. I'm 27 and would like to fine any training centre or course anything to get me on my way. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Where to start. How to get my foot in the door. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum!
I think most people here would recommend your local technical college - the kind which train chefs, hairdressers, mechanics, plumbers, and of course electricians. This will be the college an employer would send a new apprentice to, although most also offer courses to adults.
The reason being these colleges are much less likely to sell you an expensive course of little worth, and less likely to go bust and leave you in the lurch.
Chances are if there are places available on the course they'll ask you in for an assessment and interview before offering you a place - these colleges don't just give places to anyone who's unlikely to pass the final exams, which is one of the reasons why they'll be the best.

Good luck!

As long as you don't want to take no fast and easy route. You should get on well in the trade. The best way to more a mountain is one stone at a time.
