im looking at making one of these if i use a 9v battery and use a 9v buzzer in sieries with 9v light i assume , what problems can you see with this.... maybe finding 9v light and holder ???? cheers T.

maplins will have everything you need for about £3 if you don't want to make it too fancy.....

10mm LED

Piezo buzzer

small switch

Resistor

pp3 battery clip

a bit of copper from a swa cable and a bit of heatshrink....

I made one of these when i was in school, we even made it with a pcb and then soldered everthing to it and decorated the outside to out pleasing, aahh memories!

I think I know now that any lights go parallel with buzzer. What's resistor for grant37? Also I was looking at maybe having 3 LEDs ans them lighting when touched , one at a time, 3 strikes your out. But maybe a counter could work if you have any tips to guide me as I'm dumb

Kids of today are proper spoilt, our "operation" game involved rib spreaders, scalpels and stray cats...still,if your that PC,go and buy a buzzer...:lipsrsealed2:

Put a plug on it and plug it into the ring, and use copper hoops directly onto connected into the live via a hidden junction box....and use a copper piece of earth wire as the probe haha. In all serious though, funny you should mention this i made one of these years ago when i was still at school. It still works today, had 5red lights for the steadyhand hoops and a stud at the other end instead of a buzzer which lights up green when touched.

Ohh how the little things keep you amused for hours.
