Hi guys

Question would steel runners in a vehicle inspection pit require main equipotential earth bonding?? the pit is all concrete construction except for these metal running beams used for the wheel jacks – doing a test I get 0.01 MΩ

Although there is no simultaneously accessible structural steel work etc to these metal beams / runners ?

am i over the top wirepuller or would you earth beams feel better myself if earthed them but might be wrongi
Earthing and bonding are two entirely different things, the beams will require bonding if they are extraneous conductive parts. If they are conductive parts then they will require earthing. As described by the OP I cant see them being either...so no,I would not connect anything to them.
