I have a question about a pulse source for a mobile phone charger. I read on the Wiki that the power supply is first rectified, then oscillated to a higher frequency, converted to a small transformer and re-rectified and stabilized with feedback towards the multivibrator. I have a question as to how this can work when reducing the magnetic circuit.
It is important that the same power passes through the magnetic circuit as with a 50Hz transformer. How is it possible to filter such short pulses with a small terminal capacitor.
