So in recent months I see Tom Nagy , Nick Bundy and now Artisan have all upgraded and got proper office space and storage units etc etc

I am pleased (yes genuinly) to see so many fellow traders to be kicking on and building up their business empires

My old boss in London started his business from a sh!tty old unit in Fulham in the late 60s and now runs an electrical contracting business employing about 45 full time staff (about 5 office and 40 sparks last time I spoke with them)

Keep it up lads :)

Fair play to them all. I unsubbed from their videos because it's just the same old nonsense of them talking all the time now. Like to see the actual job get done, not someone just talking about the job getting done.

Yeah they seem to be doing well.
I do miss Rupert LAsparkTV Wire&Test Limited, his channel hasn't been active for quite some time.

Yeah do well on the promotional stuff thats for sure.

I miss photonic induction. The best of the lot by far!

Is 'Mr Pastry' still going.....? ?

The only one I watch with any regularity is Dave Savery, who doesn’t seem to promote any particular brand for freebies. (and obvs. John Ward for the clever stuff)

I watch dave savery a lot, I'm a bit of a nit picky pedantic arse at times and often see things that bug me on a lot of other YouTube electricians videos, but daves always seem sound, honest installs, he does get a bit rambly but don't we all when we're having a bitch about the trade

I watch them and get annoyed by them at the same time! Have picked up some useful ideas here and there but, David Savery aside there's very little original content on most of their channels now so the appeal is wearing off.

I tend to agree that the content can get rather boring , especially as most of the vids are of similar stuff..

The best content is the rough n ready stuff where they are ripping out dodgy wiring or picking up a job half way through which is a dogs dinner

Im sure Ive seen someone from Artisan use a drill driver to do a fuse board up. which is lazy correct me if im wrong.

I have one golden rule .I only ever trust reviews form those people who have fully paid for the product . So many are ------ and will do anything for money

Loads of sparks now a days use their 18v impact driver for consumer units
I have the tiny Festool drill kit that is amazing .UNLIKE all other festool drills ! I could use it for CU work as its super easy to use and wont be doing much damage if it tried . But I just wont...

I have learnt a few tricks from some of them such as using a piece of conduit when drilling near cables, thought that was quite clever

Trying to figure that out

Only thing I can think of you hold the conduit over the line of the cables while you position what you're fixing I dunno
