Can UPS system system of APC Smart UPS 3000VA (2100 W) support two/three fans? I have that UPS for my office network system. I want to use it for home utilities when power fails. Can I do it? I tried APC websites....faild to get any such info.

UPS can come in big sizes often used to control machine control panels in countries with unstable power supplies. Ill try and remeber the name of the supplier we used? So yes you could get one to power some fans for a short while!

As far as i know ips are interuptable power supplies they turn of when mains goes. Some units can be configured to be either or, on power failure hope th.at helps

Thanks for the reply. I am in Bangladesh where power remains for short time only. I wanted to know if I can use UPS (which is primarily made for computer utilities) to run inductive loads like fans?
