It happened to my first attempt. I dragged the attachment into the post direct from the upload - I should of dragged it into the lower box and clicked done.

Maybe here's a limit to the number of attachments in the forum boards settings. You could host the photos somewhere free like photobucket then past a link in the post or maybe try just a few attachments in a new post and see if that works.
