Got home from the hospital early this afternoon, Mrs Pete999 all lathered up cus She couldn't get BBC I player, apparently, not sure which organisation it was, I can surmise it was the Beeb trying to get License Dodgers to pay up. Anyway had to log in to the BBC to confirm my Password and email and enter a code on the TV screen to be able to watch I player, managed to do it with the help of camerbloke and my sausage fingers, Mrs Pete999 loves me even more now, anyone eles having this sort of experience? or is it just me?

Yeah I’ve had to do it with the kids now TV boxes.

TV licence is out dated! Does anybody actually watch the programmes as they’re broadcast?
We certainly don’t, it’s either recorded on the free sat box or watch it on Netflix / catch up tv. (When we get time!)
Come on BBC, just show adverts like every other channel and like everyone else they will record it, watch it later and fast forward the ads!

The point of the Licence fee and beeb is to provide a media outlet that free from any political interference.

Not going to comment on whether that's actually the reality, but that is why we have a Lience fee rather than BBC funded though general taxation or adverts.

Every so often you are required to log in to iPlayer to confirm that you do have a TV license it's just like a periodic inspection.

Whats a TV?
It's a thing that most people are glue to during their off duty time, a lot of the stuff produced by the TV is drivel, Soap Operas and the like, in the main, although other pointless viewing is also on offer, Dancing programs.
Sometimes referred to as the IDIOT BOX.:tongue::handfist::imp::smilingimp::confused::eek::D:D:D

Makes me laugh when people complain about the BBC, saying it's all repeats. And Sky isn't? Come on, the BBC still produce the best programmes, alot of which make up the SKY channels. When you compare them to some of the dross on other channels, ITV included the licence is good value.
