I was on a job last year on a farm, gadgie had built a house and needed about 150 metres of 3 phase mains cable for the house and his grain drying shed, 2 poles and a tranny. He dug the trench himself, lined it with sieved sand, tiled it, taped it and back filled after it was all installed.

£50K

Seriously, that is cheap.

Nah its cheap.

was watching a program and this guy powered his house off solar and batteries as the grid wanted 20k for a 100amp 240v supply to house

That price he has was very cheap

Well one must be able to express oneself eloquently on occassions so that one is easily understood BY THE BIG SOFT SOUTHERN JESSIES! :)

Consummate narrative there, Old chap!
Enraptured to espy a perspicacious communication from those sub contrary residents!
A mite disparaging toward the consummation perchance.
