HEY

Im in need of some desperate help. im trying to wire a floodlight that so that i can use it indoors using a standard plug. ive wired a meter cable tht has 3 wires E,N and L all correctly done however once i plug it in it doesnt work. does any1 no what ive done wrong? can it be done? do i need other parts if so what?. Thank you for reading the message id be greatful for any feedbac thats left on here 4 me that is useful. thanks
