Trial Day Tomorrow

Haven't been active for a while. Thought you guy might be missing me(Probably not but sh :lol: )
Got a trial for an apprenticeship tomorrow (after my tutor kindly put in a good word to the training provider), it was supposed to be Saturday but a customer cancelled. Heading over to Keighley for 8:30 with my bag pretty much filled to the brim with any and all tools i may need and my tutor's wise words "Just remember... Don't f**k up" :lol:

Also got entered into the regional's for sparks magazine's apprentice of the year 2015 on the 18th of February ... Was the only person who was level one and didn't have a full apprenticeship... They were all one year away from being qualified with one of the guys being qualified doing his inspection and testing. Goes with out saying i didn't win but a good experience with some free stuff including a t-shirt so i can actually say "I've been there. Done that and got the t-shirt"

Also got entered into match fix; a competition that my college is hosting on the 20th of this month:willy_nilly:

Why did'nt you tell me that last Saturday was cancelled? I could have done with a hand on a house rewire (worked Sat to make up for Wednesday when the van broke down). You and Northstar can Test it and write out the EIC for it if you want to? Your quickly approaching I&T stage and this will be a good bit of experience for you, gives you a good head start before the college lessons. Anyway......


Hope today went well and you remembered what I told you? Dont stand around doing nowt, pick up a broom or ask what he needs doing next etc. If I could guarantee 4 years of consistent work I would take you on myself mate. I'll always help out the ones that work hard for it like you do.

Got the apprenticeship guys :Grin: me and the guy are gunna phone up the training provider tomorrow and I'll email my tutor so he can move me over to the apprentice level 3 classes on Tuesdays.

Today i was working on a shop refurb although we were upstairs working on kitchen sockets, the cooker and lighting i'll start next Monday on like a month trial, see how it goes and go from there.
