So who else has a pet that rules the roost.
I can't believe I'm sat on the floor while his majesty is sprawled all over the sofa.
And then I justify it to our lass by saying, oh but he's comfy, don't disturb him.

And we think we're the ones in charge!!!

I have to say I never allow animals on the seat sorry to be a killjoy but each to their own though!

I nearly gave you a dislike, then realised I don't want to start another negative rating war thread
Can I ask why mate, obviously it's your choice and your house, I just think you wouldn't make other family members sit on the floor.

Can I ask why
I don't wish to be contentious, it is just the way I operate with animals. Don't get me wrong I have had two Jack Russells and loved them both to bits, both of them have gone to doggy heaven now though. In fact one time I had spoken to a friend and somehow the phone got left on and they never ceased teasing me on how they could hear me talking to my dog saying stupid but loving things to it on my lap (on the floor I was!) It may be because I was mostly brought up on farms and animals had their place and the dogs were working dogs. They slept outside all the time in the severest of winters in kennels and although loved and well treated, that was the way things were done when I was a kid. They always seemed fine to me. Although if anything I was often caught spoiling them in the kennels and playing with them too much as a kid.

It’s because @Vortigern has got 400 children so animals would have to be pretty quick to even get a look in!

Edit - it’s 13 but that’s not as funny as 400

I always know when Winnie has had a poo because she gets a bit carried away with burying it! Soil on the forehead = done for the day!
She’s not had an accident with a sharpie before you ask!

Hey this is supposed to be a Dog thread, ya know proper pets.
Cats only entertain you when they are hungry.
Plus you look stupid walking down the street with one on a lead.

My cousin in Florida would try to beat the dog to the act by catching the poo before it hit the pavement - so the hand is in the bag and the dog is cuppying - I tried it when taking her dog for a walk, it’s a strange feeling catching a warm doo doo with 0.2mm cellophane between it and your hand!

I'm kidding ya pillock.
I do have 2 x rifles but only for target shooting, I can't stand cats but equally couldn't hurt one.

He needs a little moustache brushing after every luncheon date methinks!

He’s a cutey!

Even the pig has got a space - anything goes in that house!
Whenever he drinks out of his water bowl he comes over to get his mouth dried.

He has his own toys

Knows them by name, he has several different toys across different family houses. Which ever house he arrives in he runs to that cupboard looking for his toys and bowl etc.

You can't say the word lead, walk or bath, they have to be spelt out.

To him go to work means that someone is leaving the house and he won't be going with them. Because when someone leaves the house he likes to 'go for a spin' he knows to run to a car.

The only thing I think that should be shot are grey squirrels.
Yup I understand however for me it is Magpies, I am a song bird lover and have a good feeder in my garden which I keep going 24-7 365 days a year, the magpies cause havoc with them so I do cull them for the sake of the song birds, otherwise I shoot nothing else, even squirrels which are also a nightmare for some people, however they do not effect my garden songbirds so when I see the odd one I do not shoot it. I love my song birds.

We still have red squirrels, so I think they should be protected, I'm obviously a bit racist.

My late grandfather used to shoot Grey Crows, they would pick the eyes out of baby lambs if let allowed.

I'm all for shooting if it's for controlling the population and farmers live stock but don't agree with it for fun or sport.

If I caught someone shooting a red squirrel I would shoot them

He’d probably post on the forum for advice and then 8 pages later he will have a definitive answer but by that time the squirrel would have run out of ammo and gone home or into hiding!
That’s how it goes down in my head anyway!
What about if you saw the red squirrel shooting something though ;)
