Hello can anyone advise what they would do in this situation please. I have a wylex 100amp switch fuse that has an incoming and out going cpc connection which takes up to a 16 mm cpc. I have 16mm incoming and outgoing cpc, however how do I then earth the enclosure and the banjo as the cpc connection has no connection with the enclosure

I'm assuming you're working with a 3core or 5core swa and you're using 1 core as the earth?

Is it one of those where there are the earth terminals at the main switch isolated from the earth terminal on the back box.

Exactly like that. Take the supply cpc to the back box terminal first along with the banjo cpc then another up to the switch body earth terminal.

T e back box terminal is very small probably only 6 mm max

Why don’t they just put in an earth block big enough

I noticed that in pictures of it. I really wonder why they have the switch CPC terminal at all, why not have just the box adequately sized?

It is a stupid design, being 100A I would have thought that terminal would take 16.0 have you tried it.

Is it swa in and out or tails in.

Most of the spec online state that separate terminal will take a 16.0.

Yes exactly, I wonder how many people have installed one thinking the enclosure is linked to it

No that’s the earth terminal joined to the switch , the three connection are L N E

Tails in swa out
Could you just take the 16mm CPC to a crimp lug bolted to the SWA's banjo and, assuming 3C SWA, also put a lug on the cable's SWA conductor to the same bolt?

i.e. Ignore the switch's through-CPC connection and the box's terminal strip completely.

EDIT: Also you could use a nylock nut if concerned about it coming loose.
