Hi people, I'm an apprentice with 3 years experience in the trade. I've been asked to add some sockets and a light to an extension to a conservatory. There are already sockets in the conservatory so it shouldn't be a problem just spurring off them for the power but with the light I am unsure of the best way to do this as it has a PVC roof, should I just come off the sockets into a fused spur?

easiest way is FCU then wall lights on the house wall. then you won't be risking invalidating the warranty on the plastic structure of the conservatory.

If you're installing more than one socket, you'll have to supply them via an FCU, unless you put each socket on its own spur.

can you not tap of the house lighting circuit to supply the wall lights if not as stated fused spur with 5/6amp fuse via sockets. put 2 fused spurs side by side of socket one for lightd ,one for new sockets
