    hi all got the niceic bloke coming soon to check my cu replacement and obviously the actual cu has no holes in top and so passes the horizontal top surface of ip2x reg but its raised off the wall so the cables can go behind and into the cu do i have to cover this over to comply with that reg...

    does the hieght requirments for sockets apply to extensions ?

    alright all i have 1st fixed an extension for a builder but hes moaning that this electricians normally put all the heights for the sockets and switches at the height required for disability that it says in the building regs but i thought that only applied for complete NEW buildings not a new...

    that'll learn me, apply beforehand

    did a nice little job that would have spot on for labc to do and then get part p on but they wouldnt do it that way i had to apply before the job and then have them come back after. doh!
