Hi Chaps thinking of putting in for a part P scheme and seen a Fluke 1651 advertised for £180 out of calibration is it suitable? Decent how much does calibration cost and how long does it last?
Hello,
Just wondering what people pay for calibration?, do you send it away or do you have somebody come and do it at your gaff?.
I am looking to get calibration for my megger 1552 Cambridge area if anybody can recommend a good service.
Hi guys
Im new here, as have only just qualified as a Domestic Installer (part p) and so as you can imagine I need a few things.
The first, and no doubt the most expensive is a multitester....preferably a Megger 1552 please (but open to other options)
would prefer if it is still in...
Do you guys bother to get your multimeter calibrated? mine was factory tested by Megger but should I get it calibrated when this expires.
I always get my multifunction calibrated yearly but don't know if I should bother with the multimeter.
Hi all, just setting out as a self employed electrician and need to invest in some test equipment. I have the oportunity to buy a second hand Fluke 1651 (not B) at a reasonable price. Would this do the job IAW BS7671 17th ed or should I be looking at something else?
Any advice is greatly...
Please could someone be kind enough to help me out here...... please?:o

I have a Fluke 1651 multi tester and need to have it calibrated. Does anyone know somewhere in London that is reasonable or somewhere I can post it off too that offer good rates? New to the trade and hoped for some inside info instead of trawling the net for the best price.
Thanks:)

Hi
I have a checkbox (CCB1), it does the continuity and insulation checks BUT how do I do the Loop and RCD tests with the checkbox which does not have these facilities on?
I have read that you should have a dedicated circuit to do the loop and rcd tests.
Can someone please explain in more...
