    Humidistat Fans

Hi, Does a humidistat fan need a Switched Live, it seems that it doesn't need to go ON with the light but just whenever the sensor says so. In that case does it just need a Permy Live and Neutral? Cheers Nick

    New build - kitchen fans

Need to pick brains again . Got some new build jobs comming up and need clarification on whether you need to install a kitchen fan even if it has a ventilated cooker hood? Ive heard that it needs to extract 60ltrs/min. Not quoted for this as developer hadn't requested it for the quote. Feel a...

Is this the death knell for LV fans

Am I correct in assuming that in domestic properties as long there is RCD protection and the fans are IPX4 there is not a requirement any more for fitting LV fans in special locations. If this is the case will the manufactuers start to only produce 230 volts units?:) Regards Sparky 200
