    Problems with 'flashing' sockets!

    Hi Everybody, Has anyone encountered 'flashing' sockets before? A client has a problem with plug in appliances in that when the socket outlet switch has been turned off, and the item removed an electrical spark/arc occurs? Any ideas about this oh wise ones? Thanks

    Flashing display on new import meter

    My DNO installed a new meter last April. When I came to read it today the display is flashing between the figures and 'rEd'. Is this a meter fault and should I report it? The meter is a Landis & Gyr Type 5235A.
