    Update: You can now bookmark individual posts :-)

    You can now see a bookmark link in posts. Click it and you can make a bookmark and leave a note. Click on your name at the top of the forum and you have a link To your bookmark list. Any logged in user can use this feature.

    Loss of service anyone?

    Is it just me or has the server been down for Electricians Forum. I have not been able to log in all day, well this morning and later when I got home from work? This has happened before a few times, is it just me.

    How To See Your Previous Started Threads?

    Before the changes you could get a list of all the threads you had started (as well as your posts). I can only find how to see my posts, not my started threads. Any idea if this is still possible?

    What are peoples views on fixing swa to concrete fence posts and gravel boards, the alternative is ripping up a perfectly footpath and garden to bury which seems a bit over the top?

    Metal Fence Posts - Earthing?

    A customer has had some bespoke metal fence posts made up. They're keen now to have lamps hanging from them. The posts need bonding of some sort but is it enough to provide a connection to the earth of the lighting circuit or do they need connecting seperately to main earth somehow?

    Not sure if this has already been pointed out. But we now have over 1 million posts. Post Count: 1,027,227 Members: 50,469 - I do regular culls to remove unused accounts so that's pretty much active users only Threads: 89,723 - Quite a low thread count for a forum with over 1 million posts...

    RCD test without RCD

    Is there anyway I can test an installation without an RCD so I can be sure when I changethe board the RCD will trip in time? Or calculation, such as V/R eg 230/Zs.????
