    whats involved in a HNC?

    what is involved in a HNC? is it purely maths and science? how long does it take? how hard is it? I've just finished 2330 L3 and i found the electrical principles bit very easy, and would go as far to say that i found it interesting and enjoyed it so i'm thinking i might aswell go for the HNC...

    Whats the worst thing youve ever done as an apprentice?

    Everyones done something stupid as an apprentice. (or at least thats what i like to tell myself.) My worst mistake was in my first week with a new electrician at the company. I was with him to show him the ropes. was a really nice guy and even joked about how he was my apprentice for the week...

    asked to quote for putting in a humidistat fan in bathroom and two outside lights but... old board, 16mm tails, no rcd; no bonds to gas or water when i said you need earthing in place and the work i carry out will need a rcd garage unit as its work outside and in a bathroom which is all going...

    I will be taking the AM2 before long, and would like to know exactly whats involved since the chages last April. I'm aware that all fabrication has been removed, and its basicly terminating cables, and choosing correct fuse ratings. A test and Fault find at the end with a mulitiple choice exam...

    Metrel 61557 for sale with calibration cert

    Seeing as I have just aqquired a Megger1552, I'm selling my Metrel 61557. It is in full working order and was calibrated in February this year. Only reason for changing is I prefer the Megger. £100 plus £10 postage...open to reasonable offers as well. Cheers all Neil
