    What's that light called??

    Ok, bit of a silly one here, but what are the lights called where you span them from wall to wall with wire which is low voltage and have down lights along the wires? Trying to find them so any links would be great!

    Oh, what's the name of those things?

    Been banging my head against the wall trying to get this to come to the surface but it's not happening. Can anybody remind me the product name for those pattress extensions that slip over fronts on 2nd fix. They allow plastering and painting etc to go on. Anybody?

    What's the norm on a 3 phase Submain in regards to swa and earthing, I'm looking at 25mm swa but not keen on using the armour as earth, (it works out ok size wise) I normally use an extra core for earth on single phase but 5 core swa seems a bit thin on the ground anyone have fors and againsts...

    What's the difference between a good and a bad electrician?

    What are your thoughts? I think a good electrician will accept full responsibility for their work and that responsibility should extend for the life of the installation. A bad electrician would chuck it in any old way and be off in the van as quickly as possible without a second thought.
