2.5 swa ran in cable tray on a 16A mcb and will be labelled conveyors only ,this is an exsisting installation iv come across as adding another 2 outlets to this circuit (only 1 ATM)

You need to carry out a risk assessment as to whether the outlets are likely to be used for alternative purposes. If they are single phase I don't see an issue with just fitting rcbos.

It's highly unlikely these would be used for anything but due to location and use of warehouse,I know it's simple enough to change to rcbo but if it's not required there's no need.

You would need to carry out a risk assessment to quantify this and that is likely to be impossible as there are so many factors you cannot foresee. Alternatively get written acceptance from a responsible person or the person ordering the work outlying your reasons and their authorisation for omitting additional rcd protection. Easy route, fit rcbos.
