Hello I’m starting off doing jobs for myself and I’ve come across a bathroom with lack of ventilation ...
The fan in place is a 4inch fan tight to the ceiling corner.
It’s fed from the light in two core to a isolation switch and transformer in the kitchen behind the fan.

Currently it’s fed in two core on the switch line so The fan has no over run
Is there any fan I can get that dosnt just work when the light is on ?
I can make the switched line permanent by connecting it to the looo at the light fitting

You can get fans will pull cords.

I thought that too, but was unsure form description if tight in corner on the ceiling or, tight in corner upto the ceiling.

Down to the OP to decide if a pull cord is suitable for the install mate. Just giving another option.

It's a 12 volt fan the transformer has the run on timer if it's not running on check the transformer
