Ok,

you got four tests

A Zs test box, where you measure Zs for a given CPD and see if it complies

An insualtion resistance test box where you have to establish faulty circuits

A visual assessment board, where you have to examine a CU and some circuits and find wiring faults

and finally a full PIR on a three phase installation

have fun now!!

thanks for your reply.
what do you mean by "test box" ??
do you not get an installed cct to test on but just some cable ends going in to a box ???

I am familiar with the 2391 boxes

the insualtion box you will be faced with a CU with tails coming out.

the Zs test box, you just plug into a BS1363 socket and do your tests

The PIR is the main bit.

You have a three phase dis board feeding ring main, three phase motor outlet through a DOL contactor, and an FCU.

Then a sub single phase board with a radial socket and some one/2 way lights.

It does what it says on the tin!!! You just do a FULL Pir (no sampling) on it. Do your visuals, test and then complete the PIR.

Job done. 2 hours as i seem to rememeber.
