25mm tails over 4 meters

Can anyone confirm. When 25mm tails on a 100amp supply are longer than 4 meters. Do you need to
Downfuse the isolator switch even if cable size is suitable for length of run?

It is something that you would have to confirm with the network supplier.
Some DNOs allow their fuse to be used to protect conductors of that length, some don't.

The Dno and the supplier have to ensure there equipment meets BS7671 requirements, so providing this is the case,then what can they do?

Yes it is, although I have heard of some allowing up to 4m, and other's that only allow 2m.
