I've never used anything else but Sds maxSDS Max would seem a bit 'Heavy Duty' for general chasing in most materials.
Corded Sds for boring joists and light duty boring of masonryI've got a DeWalt SDS max. Invaluable when you need it, but I wouldn't want to do ordinary chasing out with it. Far too bulky and heavy.
Only comes out on special occasions.
But it hasn't broken yet, so lasted longer than my last Armeg ;-)Not really. I used it for the second time today, but only for two very short chases in breeze block, which doesn't really count.
