100A per phase.

Bit confused about this.

When a simple 4 pole isolater like this plastic wylex one, is rated at 100amp, does that mean, 100amp per phase? So it could have 300amps going through it?

It doesn't really have 300A running through it. Each pole should have a maximum of 100A running through it (considering the type of load too, as the 100A rating may be dependent on the type of load).
