I don't have kids, so I can't form an opinion. However.......
If I was a little barsteward when I was a young'un, my dad gave me a clip round the earhole.

OOOOOH CONTROVERSY!

bless them i was in stitches with the youngest when she was eight. all the electric went off so she calls through and said "somethings tripped the rcd dad" wonder what it was? turned out to be underground cable so the old dear had her driveway dug up at 8pm saturday night.

I see your two and raise one...

my youngest has a lovely habit of chucking toys in the washer & dishwasher.

likes to spice it up by trying to sit them on the wedges in the drum of the washer, so us "grownups" cant see they are there without bending right down. grrr...

wouldnt change them for the world though!!

Was minding the kids last night while Mrs was out for a couple of hours when my youngest decided to get a sauce bottle out of the cupboard. Well she got it out ok but didn't hold onto it and it came down and chipped "her" ceramic hob. So you can guess who got an earfull last night as it turned out it was my fault for not paying attention to what she was doing.

Ended up in the orange shed today to buy a new one to keep the peace.
