In a domestic property where the internal consumer unit backs-on to an external brick outbuilding, what is the correct insulation to use to cover the holes, gaps and cables where the cables travel through the brick to the C. U?
(Cold air is blowing through to the consumer unit and into the house). Does it have to be flame retardant, even though the area in question is on the other side of a brick wall?
Thanks in advance.

how big are these holes?

I'm just worried about this guys name

Whatever you do, don’t use expanding foam…. The chemicals within the foam attack the pvc coating of the cables.

Can you push in glass wool insulation? Or perhaps stop the wind getting into the outhouse?

Do the cables come from the CU, into the outhouse, then go back to serve the house or is this just a circuit serving the outhouse itself?

A wad of insulation covering all the cable entry holes would be a good shout, but would it need to be flame-retardent?
