Aico Smoke and Heat Detectors

I am sure it is great unit, but you do't know my wife .she will be triggering it off 3 times a day if it detect the smoke as well

I'm also thinking of using Aico, but have just been told there's a brand called BRK which is similar. Anyone got any experience with these?
