I've given you a supportive "like"
Hope there's plenty of wood?
I would look at an intergas boiler. As there’s no diverter valve, no valve motor, no hot water plate heat exchanger, no air vent and no air pressure switch, just 4 moving parts due to the 2 in 1 heat exchanger which they claim that has never failed. If you go for the compact and have it fitted by a registered installer you also get a 10 year warranty.Potterton Suprima, known issue with the PCB's I replaced one about 4 years ago but its failed again ordered one online should be here Moday or Tuesday, next boiler I fit during the renovation will be a Viessmann system boiler.
He cn go and f!!ck himself, I remember the power cuts as well always when Tom and Jerry was about to start, never forgave the bar stewards.Unless you are out in the London "countryside",i wouldn't let that mayor, see you burning logs on an open fire...
Reminds me of the power cuts,in the 70's and 80's,me sisters and meself, always got a hot tea, thanks to open fire and a "can-do" mum
