I need to 'make a solution' for adapting an overly complicated heating system to work with a less than ideal existing Tado setup. It's not a brand I've dealt with before so if there's anyone here I can shoot the breeze with over a couple of ideas I'd be grateful.

I have fitted a tado system once. I doubt I can tell you more than you already know about it - my client already knew how to operate the system as he had it in his previous home, so I only physically installed it. I'm not big on smart controls.

The wireless receiver replaces the existing programmer. It controls the hot water, and zone 1 heating, in conjunction with the wireless room thermostat. Any further zones have to be hard wired using wired thermostats, which are battery powered and need a permanent live to them.

All of these devices connect to the internet bridge, and all of them can be controlled by the same app.
