More of the same, claimed to be from regional crime prevention team launching a magazine naming and shaming rogue traders. Would I be interested in advertising ?

number was 01400 663525

Alarm bells rung when she started the call as April Jackson and ended up as Lindsey Jackson, said I would be the sole electrician in the whole circulation of Yorkshire allowed to advertise in their mag.

Not that old chestnut - used to be fire brigade year wall planner - £100 for the year.

its the same old carp keeps coming back in different format.

We keep getting some foreign person phoning saying he needs to access our computers because of some virus - can we have your password please - yeah whatever!

There a few guys around me trying to get "trades" to sign up for advertising in Golf Club magazines ..... their calls to me tend to be quite short....

I've had a couple of these calls over the years. Always start by scaring you to soften you up, then tell you it's just advertising. I suspect some people are so relieved that they aren't in trouble that they sign up to anything.
