Bananas are coming

Here's one for GMES and all the other primates.

I took a stroll around my garden this afternoon to see spring has really spung and everything's in flower. My apricot tree is going bezerk, a month from now I'm going to have more apricots than I know what to do with.

My banana trees are also in flower already so bananas are also imminent.

It's only September, surely it can't be that bad yet? We've had a very wet winter and there's more rain forcast for later this week so I'm afraid I don't have too much sympathy at the moment

But rain when it's warm isn't that bad. Rain when it's cold is bad

Very nice Marv, I like nanas, and dongle it was hot today here, I have only just shut the patio doors, it must be colder up north.

Marvo can't you post up a few pics of your surroundings it's got to look better than over here.

When you say surrounds do you mean in the general area or more local like in my garden.

Marvel red send them northerners nice pics cos where they live is all sooty and hilly with cobbled streets 2rooms upstairs and 2 rooms down with an outside toilet
You have to wear a flat cap and a scarf and everyone of them has a whippet except gmes who has an elephant
They have a bath once a week in a tin bath in the back room and when they do there ironing they plug the iron I to the light socket
They eat loads of hovis and dripping too

More than 30 whales beached about a kilometer from my house. Spent a very long day attempting to refloat them, seven dead in the end.
