Bathroom Extract Fan

Any Special Location issues with putting an extract fan over the shower basin. Ceiling mounted over 2.25m so outside the zones? Same bathroom has a standard pendent set also outside the zones. Just all looks odd!

If its outside the zones then I would say no issue. Good practice is a different issue altogether.

You can't ram regulations down peoples throats, and yes if its outside zones technically its OK.

I usually make a verbal comment and if they ask me what I would do, I simply say I'd change the fitting.
