BS 7671 and 3 hard copy - offers

So we all have to buy this stuff. From looking on line it would appear that the pricing is a bit of a cartel so this thread is for you to post"special offers"

I saw one earlier but once VAT and carriage is added is far from a good price.

I've heard that Denmans have an offer on but they are to far away!

I think as a scheme member we should get them at cost But the money grabbers are up to their usual money making antics.

There should not be vat on a book.
Though I've seen books and certificates in wholesalers priced inc vat.
When challenged they informed me that their invoice software didn't allow for zero rated items.

I think that they just couldn't be bothered.

Please forgive the silly question. Does the having a digital subscription fulfill the obligation to have these books.
EG if I was to be assessed for a scheme.

Elecsa allow the updates to be electronic, so I can't see why the full document can't be electronic.

Best to phone your CPS and ask the question.

Be careful with Amazon and eBay, if anything like the BGB there will be hundreds of fakes out there.

*******s when I had a look I pressed check out and the invoice came up 0 for vat and 0 for delivery

I'm sure the fakes will appear but it's a bit early yet, I'd guess it will be genuine books for the first couple of months until the copies are made.

Our hard earned cash has gone into putting a nice shiny hologram inside the front cover of the BYB, there's no way anyone could possibly make a fake now!
