Hi guys, I'm looking for a set of reasonably priced cable cutters for ease of cutting 6mm cable and upwards. Most importantly however, is that they must be knuckle friendly!!! Maybe it's just me but most of the heavy duty cable cutters I've ever used have been the type where you smash your knuckles together straight after every cut! I would really like to avoid this from now on if possible.

Do any of you have any suggestions?

ck knipex or the nws ones are good too. i have both the knipex and the ck combi max for the 2.5/1.5 cable both are good

You get what you pay for IMO they are money well spent as I spend alot of time with larger cables.

Fair enough, I'll take your word for it

yeah Knipex 250 sommat a bit like the RS ones posted in the link.

Haven't got a pair, can't afford them, can't justify them, but by CHRIST I want some.

Lottery numbers are bought wish me luck I only want 5 numbers, not greedy. Just for the knipexxxxesssss my precious

Knipex for me too, the smaller ones, got two sets one sharp pair that no one is allowed to touch that are still like new then the older set that the apprentice blew up that are for cutting 3.5 screws to length.
