This is a pic of my electricity meter for my Spanish apartment. I can cycle through the screens using the orange button, however I am trying to find an identifying "Meter Number" so I can go to the electricity supplier to arrange a change of payment method. Any clues gratefully received!

Have a look at your bill.
I expect the meter number is printed under the barcode, but the bill should confirm this.

Thanks, @James
I don't have a bill to refer to unfortunately hence my enquiry as to whether I might be able to get it from the meter itself.
The situation is that the agent who looks after the place actually gets the electricity usage billed to his own bank account, and simply adds it to his management invoices. Unfortunately he has had a breakdown, hence I need to visit the electricity company to get them to transfer the billing to me and my own bank account. They are notoriously difficult to deal with, so I was hoping there would be some way to retrieve the number from the meter itself.

Just had a thought...do you think the meter number is what is below the barcode at the bottom of the meter?

Yes Below the bar code the full index I would say looking at that SN its 2014 meter
Date stamped on to lol

Thanks to all! I had assumed, wrongly, that the number would be called up on the screen, but seeing the barcode and number below clinched it. I checked the other 5 meters in the cupboard and of course all have different numbers. Now to do battle with GESA!
I really appreciate the assistance, thank you!
