Hi I am a time served electrician with 40 years experience in the maintance industry , i have 18th edition , can i replace my own consumer unit ? I have my own earth loop impedance tester , Rcd tester any thoughts
 
As above - you can install and certify (to latest regs), but the work is notifiable as per Part P. So either through an approved body (NAPIT etc), or via the building control dept of your local council.
