On a rare occasion, I sometimes have to install a different wireless room thermostat (eg Nest) to an Intergas boiler, which come pre-wired. However on this wiring setup they have used (from memory) female barrel type connectors, and all earthing seems to be of the male type. To save me buying another crimp tool (I have the one that does the red/yellow/blue and have ordered a ferrule type) can I use these if I need to connect to connect onto the earth, can I just use these?
