Can the 18th Edition exam be done at home/Online

Hi,

Are there any providers offering the 18th Edition course online, which does not need the exam to be taken at the test centre. I did not think this was possible, but I think I have read it somewhere what C&G now offer it? Can anyone help?

I'm nearly 100% sure that the test has to be done at a test center. Reasons are that you use their IT equipment which sets up the individual tests and that there is an adjudicator present to prevent cheating.

As above, there is no way in this World that the online test would be allowed to be done unsupervised, Covid or no Covid.

C&G where doing some exams remotely due to covid19 but im not sure if the 2382-18 is included on the list?

From memory i think you needed id & a webcam which you showed the empty room you were in. Also showing you were taking the exam & a invigilator would remote in & watch you taking the exam.

I can confirm that the 18th Edition exam can be taken from the comfort of your own home.

This option has only been recently made available by C&G, and it is a temporary solution for the pandemic.

LearnZone Media can offer this option for a £60.00 +VAT additional fee on top of our standard online course + C&G exam fee (£189.00 + VAT).

Never knew that. I've just done mine at the C&G place at Sheffield.

How do you ensure people aren't looking stuff up? I wasn't allowed to have my phone during the exam.
