You just plug it in to the EVCA210. It won't have the same functionality as the MFT1741+ or the X1 though.

Hi Richard
Thanks for the reply, it won’t function as it will with the MFT1741+ but will I be able to use the MFT 1721 and perform all the required tests

Hi
Just a question re the EVCA210 tester maybe you can shed some light.
using MFT 1741+

Plug EVA into EV Charger ie for example a QUBEV
Test switches PP to NC and CP to A.

Touch the PE Pre Test , led lights glows ...so you think uhmm that's not correct.

Megger manual says STOP ....carry out checks.
Do tests and and find nothing ,,, millivolts that's all.
All connections all good.

Put EV into charge state ,,, L1 lights up and touch pre test ,,, led off.

Continue with all the relevant testes .cp error PE error ,,, correct etc etc.

Contacted megger. They said that's correct..

They said it does glow... ,

Really

Your Thoughts ??
